On October 14, Belarus celebrates Mother’s Day, one of the most tender and emotional celebrations dedicated to the dearest person for each of us – mother. On that day in the exhibition hall of the Scientific Library of Polotsk State University there was opened a photo exhibition “Mother’s happiness’. Over 40 students and lecturers took part in it.
Organizers are Marina Grizhnevich, coordinator of the Student center, Olga Pavlova, coordinator of the Center of social, educational and psychological services, Irina Shupenko, Head of the Department of service and informing users of the Scientific Library of the University, with the support of the Students’ and Staff’s Trade Unions.
You will see photos of mums with children at an exhibition. Works are literally filled with happiness, love, tenderness.
Valeriy Lukhverchik, the Dean of Physical Training Education Faculty, Ekaterina Borodavko, an assistant of Architecture Department, Alena Molchanova, a lecturer of Russian as a foreign language of Foreign Languages Department, mother of six children, performed in the opening.
The Chairperson of Students’ Trade Union Svetlana Volochnik and the Chairperson of Staff’s Trade Union Svetlana Pivovarova awarded prizes to participants of photo exhibition.
At the conclusion of the event, Alexander Bashev played on the piano.
