It is used to obtain 3D objects when creating metalworking tools, specifically in the production of flexible-base grinding tools with oriented abrasive grains for periodic operation.

Main advantages

The technology allows:

  • To reduce the production time by shortening drying time by 1.5 times due to the use of laser sintering
  • To decrease the size of production areas and their costs due to the absence of large-scale drying shops
  • To reduce the costs of materials due to the use of low-deficit abrasive materials and wastes of a production
  • To achieve resource-saving using wastes of production and used-up abrasive tools as raw materials
  • To reduce fuel and energy costs due to the reduction of the processing cycle, the size of production areas, and technological process energy costs
  • To reduce the prime cost of the elastic grinding tool and enter the market with a competitive product with high value-added
  • To carry out import substitution for the Republic of Belarus as the country doesn't have its production and 100% of currently used elastic grinding tools are imported
