The speciality presupposes in-depth learning of the Russian language as the main one in combination with studying English. The program prepares students for a teacher’s career as well. Students learn Russian quickly thanks to studying in Russian-speaking environment. They also gain practical skills in phonetics, applied grammar, speaking and writing.
During the studies, they also have practical training in teaching Russian as a foreign language and get acquainted with the cross-cultural peculiarities of both the studied languages and the country they are in. The teachers apply the cutting-edge methods of foreign language teaching, use interactive and project teaching.
