Project STIMEY
Science Technology Innovation Mathematics Engineering for the Young (STIMEY)
International project under the HORIZON 2020 research programme (The European Union's Framework Programme for Research and Innovation).
Project: “Development of Scientific and Methodological Support to Stimulate the Interest of Young Students in Exact Sciences for Technical Education and Involvement in Innovation and Scientific Activities”.
Project objective: To stimulate the interest of secondary school students in the Polotsk region in studying exact sciences for pursuing technical education and engaging in innovative and scientific activities through the development of psychological and pedagogical foundations, scientific and methodological support, as well as socially significant online resources for the main stakeholders of the project in the Republic of Belarus.
Specific Project Tasks:
  • Conduct scientific research and develop a theoretical basis for an analytical report covering the stages of project implementation.
  • Develop a manual on the methodology for assessing youth creativity (STOC system) and a collection of tests for stakeholders in the Republic of Belarus.
  • Conduct pilot tests and prepare reports based on the testing results and research work aimed at optimizing the youth creativity assessment system.
  • Develop pedagogical and didactic foundations for the creation and use of entrepreneurial tools.
  • Develop and conduct online “serious games” in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Conduct scientific research and develop the concept and rules for the online tool “Idea Market”.
  • Test the online tool “Idea Market”.
  • Prepare reports on the testing tools for the project's online resources, as well as an analysis of their use by the project's key stakeholders.
  • Based on the analysis and the reports, optimize the created tools and develop impact plans for the results obtained from the joint international project, taking into account the national interests and specificities of the secondary education system of the Republic of Belarus.
