Enhancing international partner connections
Enhancing international partner connections and improving inner processes that provide effective functioning and development of international activity of the university.
Main activity directions:
- Coherent system organization of international cooperation of University
- Development of favourable English-speaking environment at University
- Information analysis about international activity of University structural divisions
- Specification of priority directions of international relations development with specific countries and international organizations, formation of international cooperation programmes and projects on their basis together with other University departments
- Search and establishing contacts with international educational establishments and organizations
- Negotiating with international partners
- Cooperation Agreements in research and / or academic fields with foreign educational establishments
- Coordination of international agreements and other documents connected with international partners
Comprehensive work aimed at the enhancing University profile
Comprehensive work aimed at the enhancing University profile at international events, contacts with international educational institutes and organizations, also mass media and Internet.
Main activity directions:
- Complex support of international events where the University is represented as an organizer or participant
- Participation in hosting international partners who come at University within cooperation agreements at conferences, internships and other events
- Support for University representatives at international events in the English language
- University representation at international events in a foreign language
- Creation of English content of the university including English web-resources of the university, social networks, printed materials in English, articles for English media, portals and other information resources
Development of international educational programmes
Development of international educational programmes.
Main activity directions:
- Development of new directions for joint educational programmes with international partners
- Initiation and negotiating with foreign universities about partnership possibilities
- Cooperation agreement in research and / or academic fields with foreign educational establishments
- Signing contracts for joint educational programmes including Double Diploma programmes with partner universities
- Consulting services for structural divisions of the university aimed at the creation of new educational programmes
Organization of hosting foreign citizens during their visit
Organization of hosting foreign citizens during their visit to University within strengthening educational, research and cultural relations.
Main activity directions:
- Preparation of entry procedures on the territory of the Republic of Belarus for foreign citizens
- Invitation issuing for foreign citizens entering the Republic of Belarus for teaching, internships, participation in conferences, research seminars and negotiations
- Visa issuing for foreign citizens coming to university from country with visa regime
- Contribution in issuing and getting necessary documents for migration registration and employment at university
- Assisting in realization of meeting and hosting foreign citizens
- Assisting in translation of necessary documents and business meetings
Development of academic mobility
Development of academic mobility.
Main activity directions:
- Consulting services for students and academic staff of the university about academic mobility, short-term and long-term educational programmes
- Assignment for study and internship at partner universities within academic mobility for students and academic staff
- Search for investment for providing academic mobility
Development of system integration mechanisms
Development of system integration mechanisms into university environment of international staff providing effective cross-cultural communication.
Main activity directions:
- Search and involvement of remarkable international professors after early retirement who continue share their knowledge and experience
- Search and involvement of international organizations (DAAD, Goethe Institute and others) and scholars of different international programmes (Fulbright Programme’s scholars) in educational process and intercultural communication process
- Search and involvement of international academic staff and specialists for short-term international projects (summer schools and others)
