Education

In 2004 Yury Kezha entered Polotsk State University. He graduated from the University in 2008 having been qualified as «Historian. Teacher of History».

In the time of 2009-2011 he took his Master`s degree course at Polotsk State University having specialized in «National history».

Yury Kezha defended his Master`s thesis «Political system development on Polotsk land in the 8th – the beginning of the 13th centuries” in 2011.

In 2012 he entered postgraduate program at State Education Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Republic of Belarus having specialized in “National history” under the supervision of Denis Duk, Professor of History

Since 2013 Yury Kezha has been working at the Department of History and Tourism at Polotsk State University.

  • Social and political history of Eastern Europe in the 9th-12th centuries
  • Supreme authority development on Belarusian land in the 9th-13th centuries
  • History and archeology of Polotsk and Polotsk land in the 9th-13th centuries
  • Social research of authority and social stratification in Ancient Rus’
  • Social and culture anthropology and Annals school as scientific research area.
