Geodesy falls under the field of Earth sciences. Its content involves determining the shape and size of the Earth, its gravitational field, and the spatial characteristics of natural and anthropogenic objects, phenomena, and processes on the Earth's surface. It also includes the creation of geoinformation space as a fundamental product for geodetic support of territories, as well as establishing patterns of their spatial-temporal changes. Additionally, it encompasses the development of specialized instruments and technologies for conducting geodetic measurements, including other types of geospatial data and their mathematical processing.
