The second year in a row, the students at the Faculty of Humanities have a wonderful opportunity to visit Sweden. On November 26-30,  bachelor students Arina Beker, Natalia Bogdanova, Alexander Kalach, Anastasia Mishechkina, Aleksey Pavlovsky, master’s student Valeria Korneychik and Swedish language lecturer at the Department of World Literature and Foreign Languages of PSU Yauhen Papakul visited Stockholm with financial support from Svenska Institutet (SI).

The program was very busy. During the visit, the student group visited Stockholm University, Södertörn University, Nation Library of Sweden, Svenska Institutet main office, Sveriges Radio main office and Riksdag of Sweden. Besides, the students attended a number of lectures on the topics of ecology, water saving, youth and student organizations of Sweden.

PSU students learnt about Swedish higher education system, met with the students from Stockholm University, which gave them an opportunity to practice Swedish. As a result of the visit, a plan of joint events in the educational and cultural spheres was worked out and the list of educational programs at Svenska Institutet for PSU students was extended.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Swedish Institute, especially to Viktor Henius, for the excellent opportunity to visit Stockholm. We hope that such visits will become regular.
