Yuliya Bulavka, Associate Professor at the Department of Technology and Equipment of Oil and Gas Processing and Dmitry Yukhno, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology of Polotsk State University, took part in the II International youth conference SPE «TatarstanUpExPro 2018», carried out at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal Universit (Kazan, Russia).
D. Yukhno presented his research results in the section «Scientific papers in English».
Y. Bulavka delivered a report in the section «Scientific papers of PhD students and young specialists». According to the conference results the commission, represented by heads of oil and gas companies such as Tatneft, Schlumberger, «TN-group», Science and Production Firm Parker, Mirrico awarded Y. Bulavka a Diploma of the 3rd Degree.
The representatives of our university also took part in the excursion to Alexander Stuckenberg Geology Museum where they had a look at the collection of meteorites, fossils of plants and animals.
