The Scientific Library and students of Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk took part in the International Literary Campaign ‘Whose lines?’.

Pskov State University initiated the campaign on the eve of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus within the framework of cooperation between universities of Russian-Belarusian University Union ‘Together’ Consortium.

Polotsk University students actively supported the idea of the campaign. The representatives of the Faculty of HumanitiesArtur Bukaty, Nazar Karayvan and Timofey Babitsky – are among them.

Nazar Karayvan: ‘The campaign, in my opinion, is extremely useful. I believe that there is a need for more voluntary involvement of students in preserving the cultural and poetic heritage of our Motherland, in such cross-cultural communications, which is very important now’

Artur Bukaty: ‘For me, this event was a discovery of old and new authors. I believe that such events should be held more often, because in this way we honor the creative heritage of famous and little-known poets’

Certificates of participation in the International Literary Campaign

This unique project brought together literary enthusiasts, who were joined by international students Mahlie Tursunov, Parvina Idieva, Shakhsonam Kuchkorova and Abdurakhmon Bahromov, as well as Angelina Hajibalayeva, a student of the Northwestern Management Institute of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, who is studying at our University under the academic exchange programme.

All participants received personal certificates of participation in the International Literary Campaign from the university administration, which were presented to them in a solemn ceremony by the director of the scientific library, a member of the Belarusian Writers' Union Marina Shukhankova.

Marina Shukhankova wished all participants inspiration and creativity, as well as continued participation in joint literary projects. She noted that the scientific library serves not only as a place for searching and storing knowledge, but also as a platform for cultural and educational events.

Participation in the International Literary Campaign ‘Whose lines?’ allowed all participants to strengthen international relations with the literary community of Pskov State University and jointly continue the mission of popularising reading.
