On June 5, 2018 a workshop in the form of a video conference was held at the Faculty of Law of Polotsk State University. The participants of the workshop were master’s students and students at the Faculty of Law of PSU and the Faculty of Economics and Law of Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov (Ukraine).
More popular practical corporate law issues were discussed at the scientific and practical conference. Such issues as the legal nature of the decision of the general meeting of economic companies’ participants, recovery proceedings in the authorised capital of a limited liability company, as well as control issues in a limited liability company were also included. The workshop was organized in the way that all the participants could present their projects online and share views on more problematic corporate law issues.
The following representatives of our university gave a presentation:

- Ekaterina Dedushkevich, group 15-PR-3, “The decision of the general meeting of economic company’s participants as a deal”;
- Scientific supervisor – Vladimir Bogonenko, PhD in Law, Associate Professor
The representatives of Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov (Ukraine) were as follows:
- Maria Penchukova, a 1st –year – master’s student, “Recovery proceedings in the authorised capital of a limited liability company”;
- Vadim Magazinnik, a 1st –year – master’s student, “Degrees of corporate control in a limited liability company”;
- Scientific supervisor – Andrey Smityuk, PhD in Law, Associate Professor.
Communication through the videoconference allowed the participants of the workshop to announce problems of law enforcement practice involving the most popular economic companies as well as to present their views on certain aspects of the legal regulation of the activities of limited and additional liability companies, as well as joint-stock companies.
It should be noted that this conference has become the continuation of earlier established scientific contacts between two universities both at the student and instructor levels. Such meetings help to interest students and master’s students in a scientific activity, to evaluate the results of their own scientific research and, as experience shows, to choose the right direction of their future activities.
