In the modern world the increasing of higher education quality is one of the priorities where the international cooperation takes a significant place. Networking is not only one of the new opportunities, but also a necessary new tool for an effective and qualitative educational activity, because form of networks for educational programs implementation provides the cooperation of resources of HEIs.

Networking enables to implement the following opportunities:

  • to allocate resources with a common activity task;
  • to build on the initiative of every particular participant;
  • to carry out a direct contact between participants;
  • to build possible motion ways with a common inner aim;
  • to use a general network resource for every participant’s needs.

Several years ago the network community was carried out due to the Master’s program «Accounting, analysis and audit in economic fields» (supervisor – Prof. N. Kamordzhanova) for preparation of economic staff of the new generation. Nowadays 30 universities from Russia, Belarus, Poland, Armenia, Mongolia, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, France, Italy and the United Kingdom successfully cooperate in this direction. Within networking students, Master’s students, the academic staff from different countries have become the participants of multiply joint webinars, video conferences, annual distant competitions «Do you know IFRS?», international conferences, also events on professional activity and growth.

II National inter-university conference «Development of education and methodological activity at the University in a changing environment»

Let’s consider the interaction in networking using the example of the Department of Business Accounting and Audit, Logistics and Management at Polotsk State University

On January 28-30, 2018 Polotsk State University as a networking partner took part in II national inter-university conference «Development of education and methodological activity at the University in a changing environment», carried out at Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics.

The section «Problems and perspectives of educational programs implementation in the network form»

The section «Problems and perspectives of educational programs implementation in the network form» was represented by the following network partners: head of the Department of Audit and Inner Control at Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor N. Kamordzhanova and head of the Department of Business Accounting and Audit, Logistics and Management at Polotsk State University, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor E. Maley. They presented the report on Networking concept in preparation of economic staff of the new generation in higher school».

Natalia Kamordzhanova told about the results, effects of the university-participants in the network structure, the events and advantages of networking. Elena Maley suggested ways of further cooperation development within Networking Agreement that includes the following:

  • Academic mobility among students, Master’s students and the academic staff;
  • Joint participation in submitting grants;
  • Development of joint Bachelor’s and Master’s study programs.

Elena Maley also presented the advantages of Polotsk State University as a networking stage for other participants of the networking community.

Partners from other universities in Belarus also delivered a speech to support the networking concept for preparation of economic staff of the new generation in higher school.

After the conference the working meeting between networking partners from Belarus and Russia was held. As a result the ways of further cooperation, including the development of academic mobility among students and lecturers, joint participation of the academic staff in conferences, video conferences, joint researches, publishing joint textbooks, were distinguished.
