Nowadays drug addiction reaches epidemic proportions. Therefore its prevention has huge value. On March 27, 2014, in Polotsk State University there was held a seminar for lecturers, curators of educational groups, employees of the Department of educational work and hostels on “Problems in the prevention of drug addiction among the youth”.
The participants of the seminar were: a psychiatrist-narcologist of Novopolotsk neuropsychiatric clinic Anastasia Bryleva, an officer for drug use and anti-trafficking Sergey Kislyak and the Chief of Juvenile Delinquency Inspection Gennagy Bulakh. The seminar started with the movie “The Hunt for the reason” on spice use in Belarus.
Organizers of the seminar proposed to lecturers, curators of educational groups, employees of the Department of educational work to carry out awareness-prevention work with students and student groups in PSU hostels.
