SEAH is an Erasmus+ project supported by the European Commission. The SEAH consortium involves six partners from five countries (Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Belarus and Spain). The PSU team, as a coordinator, is represented by the Department of Slavonic Philology.

The SEAH greatest input is that at present there are no platforms solely used as multilingual teaching tools in the field of five languages as well as Architecture and Construction tailored to the users’ needs (platform structure, content, access and usability).

On February 15th 2021, the SEAH consortium took part in the first monitoring meeting, held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The partners discussed an agenda drawn up in line with a questionnaire filled in by each project partner before the online conference.

The Ud’A team (The ‘Gabriele D’Annunzio’ University, Chieti-Pescara, Italy), as a coordinator, welcomed the participants and hosted the meeting. The first part of the meeting was devoted to administrative and communication issues. In particular, they focused on the importance of setting a clear dissemination strategy to unify partners’ efforts and boost project visibility.

Internet Web Solutions, the IT partner from Spain, presented the Open Educational Resources platform that is now available at https://www.seahproject.eu/.

During the second part of the meeting, each university briefly presented its output. The participants have made important steps in developing language corpora (Big Data) to be loaded on the platform to reflect how language is actually used by scholars and specialists in the field of Architecture and Construction. The project is aimed at creating academic and professional language modules for French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish as a foreign language in the field of Architecture and Construction with a view to encouraging student mobility and improving mobility program outcomes.
