Last weekend the oldest city of Belarus was visited by the Sports and Culture festival «Вытокі. Крок да Алімпу» (Vytoli. Krok da Alimpu). The events of the festival included both festive and work programmes.
The second festival day became a real holiday for the residents of Polotsk. It was also special for the university. Among the modern projects presented at the festival, a presentation of a joint VR project Heroic Pillbox was held. The project was created by Euphrosyne Polotskaya State University of Polotsk and Polotsk Secondary School No 1. The project developers were students of the Faculty of Information Technologies.

At that day the university was visited by an honorary guest, President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko. The guests got acquainted with the work of the university and its rich history, rooted in the origins of the educational tradition of Belarus.

The festival became not only a pleasant gift for the Polotchina (Polotsk lands), but also an opportunity to show the best qualities and virtues to all residents of our republic.
