Polotsk State University guarantees a high quality of education for foreign citizens, including citizens of the People's Republic of China, studying at the second level of higher education, adhering to the following principles of organizing the educational process:
- The most qualified scientists and educators from among the university's faculty are involved in the training of foreign citizens to organize the educational process and supervise master's theses, including those with a sufficient level of English proficiency.
- Every year, at the beginning of the academic year, all educational and programme documentation is reviewed and updated, including in English, taking into account the specifics of training foreign citizens; relevant additions and changes are made to the curricula.
- The choice of the master's thesis topic is made by the student and the scientific supervisor based on the scientific interests and professional activities of the foreign citizen in their country of permanent residence.
- Continuous work is being done to enhance the scientific and methodological support of the educational process. For each academic discipline in the curriculum, electronic courses are created in the e-learning systems, administered by instructors, where the material is divided into modules. Each module includes: study materials (texts and lecture presentations, articles, videos); mandatory assignments (exercises for skill development, case studies, creative tasks, projects, laboratory work, methodological recommendations for self-study); knowledge assessment (quizzes, tests, project defenses, and laboratory work).
- The scientific library of Polotsk State University provides access to its own and external information resources necessary for organizing education and research activities in the preparation of master's theses.
- An individual learning programme is ensured for each foreign master's student, including through additional forms of consultation. Foreign students and faculty have unlimited communication opportunities via built-in email, chat formats, or forums on the Microsoft Teams platform.
