Competence Centre for Construction and Utility Networks

The Competence Centre is designed to help students gain proficiency with modern equipment, production and educational technologies, and advanced work techniques, while also providing training for workers and specialists that meets the demands of employer organizations.

The main tasks of the Competence Centre for Construction and Utility Networks are:

• to help students gain skills in working with modern equipment when training specialists, including for high‑tech, knowledge‑intensive, export‑oriented, and import‑substituting industries
• to help improve the professional skills of teachers from educational institutions and employees from various organizations
• to analyze state, regional, industry, and other development programmes for new technologies, equipment, and materials, so that the Competence Centre can update its facilities and resources
• to develop, test, and introduce new production and educational technologies into the learning process, as well as scientific, methodological, and software tools; to carry out experimental and design work, test new training simulators, laboratory equipment, and other modern learning tools
• to take part in organizing and running professional skills competitions; to create conditions for preparing for national and international professional skills competitions
• to create conditions for professional assessment, consultation, and qualification evaluation
