The graduation for Master’s students at Polotsk State University is always a special event! On March 3, 2018 our 62 Master’s graduates (part-time study) were awarded Diplomas of the 2nd degree of higher education with an assigned Master’s degree.

The solemn graduation ceremony was opened by Yuri Golubev, Vice-rector for Academic Affairs: «Today Polotsk State University is opening for you the doors in the future. The study process at a Master’s level has been very productive. It will bring some benefit for the University and for our country. Please, accept my sincere congratulations and wishes for your further creative achievements, good luck and wins in your life!»

Dmitry Glukhov, Vice-Rector for Science, Nadezhda Boreiko, Head of the Department of Studies, Deans of Faculties, Heads of the Departments and scientific supervisors also attended the graduation ceremony.

Vladimir Zheleznyak, Doctor of Science in Engineering, Professor, Head of the Department of Radio electronics, and Galina Sharoglazova, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation systems congratulated all the graduates.

At the moment there is a growing interest to holding a Master’s degree in the Republic of Belarus. The academic Master’s degree is getting more prestigious.

Master’s students 2018

Polotsk State University has more than 20 years of experience in preparing specialists of the 2nd degree of higher education. Nowadays PSU offers 25 study programmes at a Master’s level in order to prepare highly skilled specialists in scientific, educational, project, technological, methodological and administrative activities.

Since 1997, 982 Masters have graduated from PSU. Today there are more than 430 Master’s students at the University.
